About the Role
We are seeking an organised and reliable School Admin Assistant to join a busy and welcoming school in Liverpool. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the school office, acting as a first point of contact for staff, pupils, and visitors.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a fast-paced school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative support to the school office
- Act as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and staff
- Manage phone calls, emails, and enquiries professionally
- Maintain accurate pupil records and data systems
- Support with attendance tracking and reporting
- Assist with letters, reports, and school communications
- Use school systems such as SIMS/Arbor (desirable)
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in a school office or administrative role
- Enhanced DBS (essential) - must be on the update service or willing to provide a valid certificate
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (SIMS/Arbor desirable)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
