Primary KS2 Teacher - Maternity Cover - Rossendale September 2026 Start | MPS-UPS | Full-Time
Veritas Education are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Rossendale area to recruit a KS2 Teacher for a full-time maternity cover starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established school with a strong focus on pupil progress, behaviour, and inclusive practice. The leadership team are experienced and supportive, with a clear focus on maintaining consistency and high standards across the school.
The role will involve full classroom responsibilities within Key Stage 2, with the specific year group allocated based on experience and school requirements.
The role:
- Full class teacher responsibilities including planning, teaching and assessment
- KS2 classroom role (year group flexible)
- Ensuring continuity and stability for pupils during the maternity cover period
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum
- Experience or confidence supporting pupils with SEN
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A positive, adaptable and proactive approach
