Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and learning across KS3-KS4 within the Maths department
- Work with students of mixed abilities, including high attainers and those requiring additional support
- Deliver 1:1 and small‑group intervention sessions to reinforce key concepts
- Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging Maths lessons
- Help create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment
We are looking for someone who is:- A Maths graduate (or a similar numerically‑strong degree discipline)
- Confident with numeracy and analytical thinking
- Experienced working with young people (schools, tutoring, mentoring, coaching - all welcome)
- Reliable, patient, and committed to supporting student progress
- An excellent communicator with strong organisation skills
- Passionate about education - ideal for anyone considering a PGCE or teacher training
