Are you a passionate and dedicated Geography teacher looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant and diverse school community? We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in the Lewisham area from after the Easter break.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make an immediate impact, supporting students through the summer term, with the possibility of continuing into the next academic year.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with departmental and school policies
- Inspire students to develop a curiosity and appreciation for the world around them
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching Geography in a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Be passionate about student progress and inclusive education
- Be available to start immediately after the Easter break
