KS2 PPA Teacher - Part Time Veritas Education - Primary School in Lancaster
Veritas Education is supporting a friendly Primary School in Lancaster seeking an experienced KS2 PPA Teacher to cover Year 5 and Year 6 on a very part-time basis. This role is ideal for a confident practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
Start Date: April
Days: Tuesday & Thursday afternoons
Hours: Part-time (afternoons only)
Location: Lancaster
Contract: Whole Summer Term
About the Role
You will be delivering pre-planned PPA cover sessions across Year 5 and Year 6. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher who can step into classes confidently, maintain high expectations, and engage pupils in learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging lessons across KS2
- Managing behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Supporting pupils to make progress and stay on task
- Building strong relationships with pupils and staff
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent experience teaching KS2
- Confident behaviour management skills
- Ability to adapt to different classes and routines
- Reliable and committed to both weekly afternoons
