Veritas Education is working in partnership with a number of welcoming and well-established nurseries across the Leeds area, offering a fantastic opportunity for Early Years Practitioners seeking flexible working hours.
Whether you are looking for full-time, part-time, or ad-hoc work to fit around your lifestyle, this role offers the chance to work in nurturing environments that value high-quality care, outdoor learning, and engaging daily activities.
We are keen to hear from both qualified (Level 2 or Level 3) practitioners and unqualified candidates with relevant childcare experience who are passionate about supporting young children.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding position where no two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work across different nursery settings, supporting children's learning through play while gaining valuable experience in a range of environments.
Key Responsibilities
Support fun, engaging, and age-appropriate activities
Promote children's development, confidence, and wellbeing
Assist with observations and contribute to learning journeys where required
Build positive relationships with staff, children, and families
Follow safeguarding procedures and nursery policies at all times
What We're Looking For
Level 2/3 Early Years qualification or relevant childcare experience
A flexible and positive approach to work
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for early years development
Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding, or willingness to learn
