About the Role
We are looking for a committed and inspiring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our warm and supportive primary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping pupils flourish in a nurturing and purposeful learning environment.
You will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers and contributing to the wider life of the school.
What You Will Do
- Support the class teacher in delivering creative, engaging and well-structured lessons.
- Provide targeted support for individuals or small groups to help pupils make strong progress.
- Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Assist with planning, preparation of resources and general classroom organisation.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
- Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
- Experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
- A warm, approachable and proactive manner.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine desire to support children's learning, confidence and personal development.
