Nursery Nurse (Part‑Time, 3 days a week)

  • Job Title: Nursery Nurse
  • Location: Hayes, London
  • Qualification Required: CACHE Level 3 (Early Years)
  • Days/Hours: Monday to Wednesday, 8:15am-4:00pm
  • Contract: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover)
  • Start Date: 13th April 2026 - End of Summer Term (with potential continuation in September)
  • A welcoming and community‑focused primary school in Hayes is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team on a part‑time basis. This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children's development and helping to create a safe, stimulating and positive learning environment.

It caters to children aged 3-11 and maintains an Early Years provision that supports children's learning through purposeful play, phonics, early maths, and developing understanding of the world.

    Key Responsibilities

    As a Nursery Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through planned and play‑based activities.
  • Assisting in setting up engaging, age‑appropriate learning environments.
  • Working closely with the Early Years team to deliver high‑quality provision.
  • Helping promote children's independence, personal care skills, and social/emotional development.
  • Building positive, supportive relationships with children and families.
  • Contributing to observations and assessments in line with Early Years practice.
  • Requirements

  • CACHE Level 3 qualification in Early Years Minimum.
  • A warm, caring, and proactive attitude.
  • Strong communication skills with both children and adults.
  • Passion for Early Years education and child development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team.
