Are you an enthusiastic, nurturing Early Years Teacher with a passion for giving children the very best start in their learning journey? We're looking for dedicated EYFS practitioners to join our team and work across a range of welcoming primary schools in the Wakefield and South Leeds area.
About the Role
You'll be joining friendly, supportive school communities where you'll play a key role in shaping early learning experiences. As an EY Teacher, you will:
- Create a warm, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
- Plan and deliver engaging EYFS‑aligned lessons
- Support children's early development across all areas of learning
- Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and families
- Use observations and assessments to track progress
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and early years team
Placements range from short‑term cover to long‑term roles, depending on your preference.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in EYFS (school‑based or placement experience)
- A nurturing, child‑centred approach
- Strong understanding of early childhood development
- Creativity, energy and a passion for early learning
- Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments
