We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and child-focused SENDCO to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher looking to further their career within a supportive and ambitious school network.
As SENDCO, you will be the advocate and whole-school driving force for students with identified special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). You will lead and coordinate innovative, evidence-based provision, ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
About the Role
You will:
Lead and manage SEND provision effectively and efficiently across the school
Provide professional guidance to secure high-quality teaching and inclusive practice
Monitor the progress of pupils with SEND, evaluating the effectiveness of provision and driving continuous improvement
Work closely with parents, carers, and a range of external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students
Ensure compliance with statutory SEND and equality regulations
About You
Our ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Be committed to completing relevant SEND CPD and qualifications
Have proven experience as an excellent classroom practitioner
Demonstrate strong knowledge and understanding of statutory SEND requirements
Have experience working collaboratively with parents and external professionals
Be passionate about inclusion and championing the needs of every child
