Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Psychology Teacher to join a high achieving secondary school in Havering from September. This is a full-time, permanent position directly employed by the school. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and proven experience teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Psychology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons across KS3-KS5
  • Assess, track, and monitor student progress to support achievement
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and high‑expectation classroom environment
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
  • Participate in whole‑school CPD and wider school life
  • Requirements

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
  • Experience teaching Psychology at KS3-KS5
  • Strong understanding of curriculum and exam board requirements
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Passion for supporting students to achieve their full potential
