The Role
The successful candidate will:
Take full responsibility for a Year 5 class
Plan and deliver engaging, creative and challenging lessons
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Use assessment effectively to ensure excellent pupil progress
Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Be reflective, proactive and committed to professional development
Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
