Behaviour Mentor - SEMH Through School (Primary & Secondary) South London Start: Next Term Pay: £100-£118 per day
We are seeking dedicated, resilient and compassionate Behaviour Mentors to join a specialist SEMH through school in South London, supporting pupils across both Primary and Secondary phases. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with additional needs, social‑emotional challenges, and behavioural barriers to learning.
About the Role: * Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils * Provide 1:1 and small‑group support around emotional regulation, behaviour and engagement * Implement de‑escalation and behaviour management strategies * Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals * Support pupils with SEMH needs, trauma backgrounds and challenging behaviours * Promote a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
Requirements: * Experience working with children with additional needs and challenging behaviour (education, youth work, care, PRU or similar settings) * Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills * Resilience, empathy and a calm approach * A genuine desire to support vulnerable young people * Ability to commit full‑time from next term
