Level 2 Early Years Practitioner - Nursery in Burnley
Two Roles Available - Full Time & Part Time
Are you passionate about giving young children the best possible start in life? Do you thrive in a nurturing, play‑based environment where every child is valued for who they are? If so, we'd love to hear from you.
We're working with a welcoming nursery in Burnley who are looking to add two caring and committed Level 2 Early Years Practitioners to their team. The nursery prides itself on creating a warm, supportive atmosphere for both children and staff - a place where your ideas, energy and heart really matter.
What We're Looking For
To be considered for either position, you must hold a full and relevant Level 2 childcare qualification. This is essential for ratio purposes and for maintaining the high-quality provision the setting is known for.
We're looking for someone who:
- Loves working with young children and understands the importance of early childhood development
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Brings a calm, patient and supportive approach
- Is reliable, enthusiastic and eager to be part of a close-knit team
Role 1: Level 2 Early Years Practitioner - Main Nursery Room
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am - 3:45pm Contract: Full time
In this role, you'll be supporting the day-to-day running of the main nursery room, helping to create a fun, engaging and child-centred environment. This includes supporting learning through play, preparing activities, observing children's development, and being a consistent, caring presence throughout the day.
Role 2: Level 2 Early Years Practitioner - SEN Room
Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:30pm - 3:45pm Contract: Part time
This position sits within the nursery's dedicated SEN room. You'll be supporting children who may need additional guidance, reassurance or tailored approaches to help them feel secure and confident. This role would suit someone naturally patient, gentle, and committed to meeting each child exactly where they are.
What the Nursery Can Offer You
- A friendly, supportive team who genuinely care about the children and each other
- A well‑resourced environment where you can be creative and hands‑on
- Opportunities to develop your skills and confidence within Early Years
- A setting that values honesty, teamwork, and putting children first
How to Apply
If you're a nurturing Level 2 practitioner who wants to make a real difference, we'd love to speak with you. Please send your CV or reach out for a chat - we'd be delighted to support you through the next step in your Early Years career.
