Veritas Education Leeds is expanding our Early Years Bank Staff Team and we are currently recruiting enthusiastic, reliable Nursery Officers to work across a variety of private day nurseries in North Leeds, East Leeds, and Harrogate.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Early Years professionals who enjoy variety, flexibility, and the chance to support multiple high‑quality nursery settings.
About the RoleAs a Nursery Officer with Veritas Education Leeds, you will work across a range of nurseries including:
Large, well‑established chain nurseries
Small, friendly, family‑run settings
Community‑focused early years provisions
You will support different teams across multiple sites, providing high‑quality care and education to children aged 0-5.
We offer full-time, part-time, half-day, and full-day shifts to suit your lifestyle and availability.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver high‑quality childcare in line with the EYFS
Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing
Work confidently across different nursery environments
Build positive relationships with staff, children, and families
Maintain safe, stimulating, and inclusive play spaces
What We're Looking ForAdapt quickly to new routines, policies, and team structures
Experience in Early Years (Nursery Assistant, Nursery Officer, Early Years Practitioner)
Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable but not essential
Strong understanding of EYFS, Safeguarding, Child Development, SEND, Key Person Approach
Flexible, reliable, and confident working across multiple settings
