Location: Accrington, Lancashire Position: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: September 2026 (or April 2026 where possible) Sector: Primary Education Age Range: Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6, optional)
Veritas Education are delighted to be exclusively representing an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspiring Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Accrington.
This is a permanent, full-time teaching position starting in September 2026 (with potential for an earlier start in April 2026 for the right candidate). The successful candidate will join a busy, successful and pupil-centred school that promotes high standards of teaching and learning.
About the Role
You will:
Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons for pupils in Key Stage 2, ensuring high expectations for learning and behaviour.
Deliver an ambitious and skills-rich curriculum that builds on children's prior knowledge and supports meaningful progress.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued, safe and motivated to succeed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
Promote pupils' personal development, confidence and independence.

Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent and have experience teaching in KS2.
Be committed to consistently high standards of teaching and learning.
