Key Stage 2 Class Teacher (Primary)

Location: Accrington, Lancashire Position: Full-time, Permanent Start Date: September 2026 (or April 2026 where possible) Sector: Primary Education Age Range: Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6, optional)

Veritas Education are delighted to be exclusively representing an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspiring Key Stage 2 Class Teacher to join a thriving primary school in Accrington.

This is a permanent, full-time teaching position starting in September 2026 (with potential for an earlier start in April 2026 for the right candidate). The successful candidate will join a busy, successful and pupil-centred school that promotes high standards of teaching and learning.

You will:

  • Plan, teach and assess engaging lessons for pupils in Key Stage 2, ensuring high expectations for learning and behaviour.

  • Deliver an ambitious and skills-rich curriculum that builds on children's prior knowledge and supports meaningful progress.

  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel valued, safe and motivated to succeed.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, supporting pupils of diverse backgrounds and abilities.

  • Promote pupils' personal development, confidence and independence.

  • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent and have experience teaching in KS2.
