The school is a creative, inclusive, and forward-thinking community school that places the child at the centre of everything it does. From Nursery through to Year 6, pupils are supported to develop the skills, confidence, and knowledge needed to succeed both academically and personally.
The school holds high expectations for both attainment and behaviour, and teaching assistants are expected to integrate seamlessly with the dedicated staff team, sharing their passion for education and commitment to achieving the very best outcomes for every child. Placement across EYFS, KS1, or KS2 will be discussed based on experience and preference. Previous experience is essential, and relevant qualifications are advantageous.

Teaching Assistant support for teachers: * Creating and maintaining a purposeful, calm, and supportive learning environment * Supporting pupils to meet learning objectives using strategies directed by the teacher * Working collaboratively with teachers to organise learning activities and define support strategies
The school offers: A warm, welcoming, and supportive environment where pupils, staff, and parents feel valued. Classrooms are well resourced and organised, behaviour is positive, and additional support is in place to help every child reach their potential. Staff consistently describe the school as a fantastic place to work.
Requirements: * Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant and/or relevant SEN qualifications * Good literacy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English, or equivalent) * Good numeracy skills (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths, or equivalent) * Experience working within a UK primary school setting * A patient, caring, and proactive approach * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
