Veritas Education are seeking dedicated and inspiring English Teachers to join our partner secondary schools across Wakefield and Kirklees. We support schools with both short‑term cover and long‑term placements, with opportunities available for immediate and upcoming starts.

About the Role
- Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons
- Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Monitoring progress and providing effective feedback
- Contributing to the wider school community where required
- Long‑term and short‑term roles available, dependent on your preference
What We're Looking For
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards
- A positive, professional and adaptable approach
- Experience within a UK secondary school setting (preferred)
- A valid enhanced DBS on the update service-or willingness to apply for one
