???? Key Responsibilities
As Deputy Head of Pastoral, you will:
- Support the strategic leadership of the whole‑school pastoral provision
- Oversee behaviour, attendance and student welfare systems
- Lead on targeted pastoral interventions and student support programmes
- Work effectively with Heads of Year, SLT, SEN teams and external agencies
- Promote high expectations and a positive school culture
- Contribute to safeguarding practices and ensure compliance
- Build strong relationships with students, families and colleagues
- Mentor, guide and support pastoral staff to drive positive outcomes

- Strong background in pastoral leadership within a secondary school
- Excellent understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management and attendance processes
