Start Date: ASAP Daily Pay Rate: £95 - £115 Location: Tadworth, Surrey (Not easily accessible by public transport)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a secondary school for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in Tadworth, Surrey. The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for students who require additional support to engage with their learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assist in the development and implementation of individual learning plans
Help manage challenging behaviour and provide positive reinforcement
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
Work closely with teachers and other professionals to promote the wellbeing and academic progress of students
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with students with ASD and challenging behaviour is desirable
Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
A positive and proactive attitude to supporting students' needs
Drivers preferred, as the school is not easily accessible by public transport
