Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Upper KS2 Support (Bolton)
Start Date: As soon as possible Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Contract: Until May Half Term
We are seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school in Bolton, working with pupils in Upper KS2 as they prepare for SATs. This role involves leading small group interventions in core subjects (English and Maths), reinforcing key concepts, and helping pupils build confidence ahead of assessments.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience supporting KS2 pupils, ideally in Year 5 or Year 6
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and SATs preparation
- Ability to lead focused intervention sessions in English and Maths
Safeguarding & Compliance: All candidates must complete an Enhanced DBS check, provide professional references, and meet safeguarding requirements, including overseas police checks where applicable. Your CV should detail the last 10 years of employment history with explanations for any gaps. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK and attend a registration interview.
