Veritas Education is pleased to be working with a warm and community-focused 1 form entry faith primary school in Angel to appoint an experienced and dedicated Early Years Lead for a January start. This is a key role within the school, suitable for a highly experienced Early Years practitioner with the confidence to lead and inspire a small EYFS team.
The Role:
Leading the Early Years provision across Nursery and/or Reception
Managing and supporting a small team of Level 3 practitioners and Nursery Assistants
Overseeing planning, assessment, and delivery of the EYFS curriculum
Ensuring provision reflects the school's faith ethos and values
Monitoring pupil progress and implementing effective early intervention strategies
Working closely with the Headteacher and senior leaders to develop Early Years practice
Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have extensive experience in Early Years education (essential)
Be confident in leading and supporting a team
Have strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, assessment, and safeguarding
Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
Be supportive of and committed to the ethos of a faith school
