SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time Location: Kingston upon Thames Start Date: January Pay: £95-£115 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Kingston upon Thames from January. This is a full-time position, working closely with pupils who have special educational needs, supporting them both academically and emotionally throughout the school day.
The Role:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
Support pupils with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties
Promote positive behaviour and help create a safe, nurturing learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
A patient, caring, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
