Location: Southwark, South London Start Date: January 2026 Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Veritas Education is working with a warm, inclusive, and well-regarded primary school in Southwark to recruit a committed and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team from January 2026.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is celebrated for its supportive ethos, strong leadership, and dedication to ensuring every child reaches their full potential. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO, providing high-quality support through one-to-one, small-group, and whole-class assistance. You will play a key role in helping pupils engage in learning, develop confidence, and make progress both academically and socially.
This position is ideal for a patient, proactive, and nurturing individual who is passionate about supporting children within an inclusive and engaging school environment.
The Ideal Level 3 Teaching Assistant Will Have:
A Level 3 qualification in EYFS, Childcare, or Teaching & Learning (essential)
Proven experience supporting children within a primary school or early years environment
Strong understanding of strategies that promote learning, communication, and positive behaviour
Patience, empathy, and resilience when supporting pupils with additional needs
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and families
Main Responsibilities Include:
Delivering high-quality 1:1 and small-group interventions
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering differentiated activities
Supporting pupils' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development
Using creative and engaging strategies to support learning and improve outcomes
