Maths Teacher (Part-time)
Location: Darlington Contract: Long Term Temporary, 2 days per week (Monday & Tuesday) Start Date: January 2026 or sooner Duration: Until July 2026 Pay: £165 - £260 p/day
About the Role We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a forward-thinking mixed secondary school (11-16) in Darlington. This is a whole teacher role, meaning you will be responsible for planning, marking, interventions, tutoring, and attending parents' evenings.
The successful candidate will be a Maths specialist, confident in delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, and able to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Plan and prepare lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Mark and assess student work, providing constructive feedback.
- Support students through interventions and tutoring sessions.
- Attend parents' evenings and contribute to the wider school community.
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and strong subject knowledge in Maths.
- Experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their potential.
