Autism/ADHD Support Mentor
Full Time - Contract/Long Term - Stockton-on-Tees
Pay - £90 - £105 p/day
As an autism support mentor, you will be working on a one-to-one basis with a range of children of different age groups with Autism, and other learning needs. From within the school environment, and within the community activities, your role will be to support the learners socially, developmentally, behaviorally and on an academic basis.
The autism support mentor could be working across a range of different level of needs, from higher functioning learners who follow a structured specialised curriculum, to supporting across the more complex classes which focuses on developing sensory and communication skills.
The mentor role will work across the classroom and around the school setting, working alongside other support staff, teachers, external specialists and SLT in creating a safe, accessible, nurturing and inclusive learning environment for all children.
