Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? Our thriving SEN school is seeking a dedicated Assistant SENDCo to join our supportive, forward-thinking team as soon as possible.
About the Role
As Assistant SENDCo, you will work closely with the SENDCo and senior leadership to ensure high-quality provision for our pupils. Your role will include:
Supporting the coordination of SEND provision across the school
Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and external agencies
Overseeing personalised learning plans and progress tracking
Providing guidance and support to staff to ensure inclusive practice
Building strong relationships with pupils and families
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
Passionate about SEN and committed to improving outcomes for all learners
Organised, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Knowledgeable about SEND policy and best practice (experience in an SEN setting is highly desirable)
An excellent communicator with a compassionate, child-centred approach
