Are you a calm, resilient and supportive individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? A dedicated Pupil Referral Unit in Wandsworth is seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.
The Role
You will be supporting students who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Helping to create a safe, structured and engaging learning environment
Supporting students with behavioural, emotional and social needs
Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Patient, empathetic and resilient
Able to build positive relationships with young people
Confident in managing challenging behaviour
Passionate about helping students re-engage with learning
Available to start ASAP
Pay
Daily rate: £100-£115, depending on experience.
