Are you passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of autistic young adults? Our agency is proud to be working in partnership with a leading SEN college in Southport that provides tailored education and support for students on the autism spectrum. We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Tutor to join their exceptional team.
???? About the Role:
As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in delivering personalised learning experiences that empower students to achieve their full potential. You'll be working in a nurturing, structured environment that values creativity, patience, and a deep understanding of neurodiversity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across a range of subjects
- Support students with EHCPs and individual learning plans
- Foster independence, confidence, and life skills
- Collaborate with therapists, support staff, and families
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere
???? What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with autistic learners or within an SEN setting
- A teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
