Location: Southwark, South London Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant Start Date: November 2025 Pay: £95 - £115 per day
Veritas Education are delighted to be partnering with a friendly and inclusive nursery in Southwark to recruit a qualified Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years team from November 2025.
This OFSTED-rated 'Good' nursery is highly regarded for its nurturing environment and commitment to providing children with the best possible start to their learning journey. The successful candidate will work closely with the Room Leader and Early Years Teacher to create engaging, play-based learning experiences that promote each child's development, confidence, and wellbeing.

The Ideal Nursery Teaching Assistant Will Have:
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (essential)
Previous experience working in an Early Years setting or nursery environment
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles
Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisation skills
A warm, positive, and professional approach when supporting children and families
Main Responsibilities Include:
Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
Assisting with observations, assessments, and record-keeping in line with EYFS requirements
Promoting children's independence, curiosity, and emotional wellbeing
Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
