The Role:
Veritas Education are working with a number of complex needs schools, who are looking to recruit full time school care support staff on a permanent basis. The schools support children from early years age groups, up to 19 years old, with a range of complex needs.
The Applicant:
- Previous experience supporting complex physical, medical, behavioral and learning needs with children and young adults.
- Experience in medication administration, peg-feeding/feeding tubes, mobility support and personal care.
- Comfortable supporting and assisting with a range of different needs, and open to completing further training on specialized care.
- Able to work alongside other in-house and external professionals such as nurses, teachers and physio-therapists in providing a high level of care for all learners.
- Previous moving and handling, medication administration and other care qualifications are preferred.
