Veritas Education are delighted to be working exclusively with a welcoming primary school in Burnley, seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to deliver writing-focused interventions across Year 5 and Year 6 from November 2025.
The Role:
Deliver high-quality intervention sessions focused on improving writing skills in upper Key Stage 2.
Work closely with class teachers to identify learning gaps and provide targeted support.
Plan engaging and creative lessons that inspire pupils to develop confidence and enthusiasm for literacy.
Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 5 or Year 6.
A genuine passion for literacy and writing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and support pupils.
Open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
