Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Huddersfield to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher to join a supportive department and make a real impact on students' progress and attainment.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum and departmental standards
- Contribute to the wider school community and uphold high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support student development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Has experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school setting
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a commitment to raising attainment
- Is adaptable, enthusiastic, and committed to professional development
- Has a current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
