Position Overview:
- Role: Learning Support Assistant
- Location: Fulham, SW6
- Start Date: 03/11/25
- Contract: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-4:00pm
- Pay: £500-£550 per week

Daily Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant, your day might include:
- Providing one-to-one or small group support tailored to EHCP targets
- Assisting pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social interaction
- Supporting learning activities across the curriculum, adapting materials where needed
- Helping pupils develop independence and confidence in the classroom
- Using consistent behaviour strategies in line with school policy
- Liaising with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to monitor progress
- Preparing resources and maintaining a safe, engaging learning environment
Job Requirements:
We're looking for someone who:
- Demonstrates positive attitudes and behaviours, building strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and pupil wellbeing, and follows school policies and statutory guidance
- Can adapt learning activities to meet individual needs, using strategies that promote inclusion and engagement
- Communicates clearly and sensitively with children, helping them feel heard and supported
- Works collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support pupil progress
- Is committed to ongoing professional development, reflecting on their practice and seeking opportunities to grow
Experience supporting children with SEND or EHCPs is highly valued, but we welcome applications from those with the right mindset and willingness to learn.
