Teaching Assistants - Secondary Schools (York) Winter Term Support - Veritas Education
Veritas Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across York during the busy winter months.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom, working closely with students who need additional support. Roles are available across a range of schools, offering both full-time and part-time positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with additional learning needs
- Assist with small group interventions to boost engagement and progress
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to maintain a positive learning environment

- Experience
- At least three months experience within U.K high schools. Experience scaffolding pupils. Experience with E.H.C.P's. Previous experience managing behaviour and varying levels of S.E.N.D.
- Qualifications
- Educated to G.C.S.E level. Teaching Assistant level 2. preferably qualifications within the field of T.A such as understanding Autism.
