School Location: Lancaster Agency: Veritas Education Position: Full-Time Year 3 Teacher Contract Duration: December 2025 - July 2026 Start Date: December 2025
About the Role: Veritas Education is seeking a passionate and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Lancaster. This full-time maternity cover position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Key Stage 2. The school is open to supporting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and provides a nurturing environment for professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing targeted support where needed
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and learning
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum
- Ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Experience teaching in Year 3 or lower KS2
- Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities
- ECTs welcome - full support provided
