This long-term role involves general classroom cover, working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality early years education.Key Responsibilities:
- Support children's learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
- Assist with phonics sessions, early reading, and language development
- Facilitate play-based learning and daily routines
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with staff to maintain a safe and engaging learning environment
Requirements:- Proven experience working in an EYFS setting (nursery or Reception class)
- Confidence supporting phonics and early literacy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A nurturing and proactive approach to supporting young learners
