Are you a qualified Humanities Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Wigan?
We're working with a supportive secondary school in the Wigan area that is seeking a passionate QTS Humanities Teacher to join their team. The role involves teaching a mix of History, Geography, and/or Religious Education across KS3 and KS4.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and informative Humanities lessons
- Inspire students to explore historical, geographical, and ethical topics
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback
- Contribute to the wider school community and departmental initiatives
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Humanities subjects in UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
