On behalf of a client school, Veritas Education are seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a highly respected specialist school in Sunderland. The school caters to learners aged 4-19, the majority of whom have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) or are supported through a Special Educational Needs Support Plan.
About the Role:
- Support pupils with a wide range of SEN needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and complex learning profiles.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and therapists to deliver tailored learning and care plans.
- Contribute to a nurturing, inclusive environment that promotes personal growth and academic progress.
- Engage in ongoing training and development to support best practice in SEN provision.
