SEN Teaching Assistant - Hampton, Richmond Location: Hampton, Richmond-upon-Thames Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Full Time Salary: £100-£125 Per day depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team at a welcoming and inclusive school in Hampton, Richmond. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and emotional and behavioural needs.
About the Role:
Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to provide 1:1 and small group support
Support pupils with their learning, social development, and emotional wellbeing
Help to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support strategies
Encourage inclusion and positive engagement in the classroom and playground
Monitor and record pupil progress and contribute to assessment reviews
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Has experience working with children with special educational needs (in school or similar settings)
Is calm, patient, and flexible with a positive and proactive attitude
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
Preferably holds a relevant TA qualification or has training in SEN (e.g., Team Teach, Makaton, PECS - not essential)
