Teaching Assistant (TA2) - Full-Time Position in a Lovely Ribble Valley School (Blackburn Side) From September 1st to Christmas (Potential for Temp-to-Perm)
A warm and welcoming primary school on the Blackburn side of the beautiful Ribble Valley is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join their supportive team from September 1st until the Christmas holidays - with potential for a longer-term role.
About the Role: Full-Time, Term-Time Only Start Date: 1st September End Date: Christmas Holidays (with potential for extension/permanent placement)
Weekly Timetable Includes:
- 2 Mornings per Week: Supporting a lovely mixed Year 1/2 class, working closely with the class teacher to deliver high-quality learning.
- Afternoons (Monday to Friday): Providing SEND support in a Key Stage 2 class, working one-to-one and in small groups to help pupils access the curriculum and achieve their potential.
We're Looking For Someone Who: ✔️ Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) ✔️ Has experience working across KS1 and/or KS2 ✔️ Is confident supporting children with SEND needs ✔️ Brings a positive, nurturing approach to the classroom ✔️ Enjoys being part of a small, close-knit school community
