Behaviour Support Staff - Secondary Schools - Bradford Full-Time | Long-Term | Starting September | Veritas Education
Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across the Bradford area who are seeking dedicated and resilient Behaviour Support Staff to join their teams on a full-time, long-term basis from September.
As a Behaviour Support professional, you will play a key role in supporting students with behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties (SEMH), helping them to positively engage with their learning and school environment.
The role includes:
Supporting students in lessons and during unstructured times
Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who require additional behavioural support
Implementing behaviour management strategies in line with school policy
Working closely with pastoral teams, SENCOs, and teaching staff
Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage positive change
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
Remain calm and professional in challenging situations
Have a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of young people
Be proactive, reliable and resilient
Be available full-time from September
