Maths teacher - Stockton-on-Tees
Veritas Education are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Stockton-on-Tees who are looking for a highly motivated Maths teacher available from September 2025.
The role will be a full-time, long-term temporary position. The successful candidate will be competent delivering Maths at KS3 and KS4, be able to manage behaviour/follow the school's behavioural policy and create engaging and inspiring lessons for students of mixed ability.
Requirements for the successful candidate:
- Previous experience teaching Maths at secondary level
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Good knowledge of the national curriculum
- Able to plan, deliver and adapt engaging Maths lessons for KS3/4 students
- Ability to support children in the classroom with varied ability
- Confident in behaviour management and managing student relations
You must also be approachable, inspiring, enthusiastic and be able to quickly build relationships. This is a great opportunity to join the school and become part of its committed Maths department.
