Science Technician
Veritas Education are currently work on behalf of a successful client secondary based in County Durham as they look to recruit a highly motivated Science Technician to join their friendly team.
- Full time, permanent for the right candidate
- 37 hours p/week (term time + 5 days)
- Based in County Durham
- £22,676 - £24,170 pa (actual salary)
- Start September 2025
This vibrant and inclusive school is part of a successful multi academy trust and caters to approx. 700 children across Key Stages 3 and 4 as well as Post-16. Whilst this is a smaller than average secondary school, it is a place where traditional values of kindness, respect and hard work take priority.
The successful candidate is:
- Passionate about science and practical learning
- Skilled in using and maintaining laboratory tools and equipment
- Knowledgeable about health and safety in a lab environment
- Organised, proactive, and a strong team player
- Experienced in a school or educational setting (preferred)
- Able to support and inspire students in their learning
This opportunity would be suitable for a Science graduate looking to gain valuable experience within a school/educational setting or an already established Science Technician.
