We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Lewisham this September. About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support students aged 11-16, providing tailored assistance to ensure every learner reaches their potential. Duties may include:
Supporting students with SEND or additional learning needs
Providing one-to-one or small group interventions
Assisting with classroom management and lesson delivery
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have previous experience working with young people (school or non-school setting)
Be proactive, adaptable, and reliable
Possess excellent communication skills
Have a genuine interest in education and student development
Hold or be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (or be on the DBS Update Service)
