School Administrator - Receptionist - Redcar
Position
- Temporary Position (cover to Feb 2026)
- Start Date: September 2025
- 37 hours p/week, Mon-Fri, term time only plus 5 days
- £105-£115 per day
Veritas Education are currently working with a mixed secondary school based in the Redcar area who are looking to employ a full time Receptionist to start after in September for the new academic year.
This school is known for its warm and supportive environment, with a focus on inclusion and providing opportunities and experiences beyond the classroom for its students. There is a real sense of togetherness within the team of staff, who work closely to consistently manage high standards, creating a calm environment conducive for learning and achievement.
This is a forward-facing role and the successful candidate will demonstrate excellent front of house service. You must be approachable and welcoming along with having excellent organisational skills. The successful candidate will be confident and have great communication skills with an understanding of safeguarding children.
Duties include communicating with other academy staff to ensure pupils receive the support they require, dealing with queries from parents, preparing items for postage and ensuring all visitors to the academy follow the sign in procedure and have the appropriate security clearance. Full training and support will be given for the right candidate.

Skills and requirements:
- Previous school admin/receptionist support experience (Preferred)
- Self-motivated, organised and reliable when it comes to independent based tasks
- Warm, welcoming, and friendly professional manor
- Previous school experience desirable
- DBS on the update service
