Job Title: QTS PE Teacher Location: East Lancashire Contract Type: Full-time Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated PE Teacher to join a dynamic secondary school in Burnley in the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will inspire and motivate students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 to develop their physical education skills and lead an active, healthy lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages students to reach their full potential
- Contribute to extracurricular sports teams and activities
- Promote the importance of health, fitness, and well-being across the school community
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching PE in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for physical education and inspiring students to stay active
