Job Title: QTS ICT/Computer Science Teacher Location: Burnley Contract Type: Full-time Start Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)
We are looking for a dynamic and passionate ICT/Computer Science Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Burnley for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach ICT and Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop essential digital skills and a strong foundation in programming and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging ICT and Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to enhance learning
- Inspire students to develop their problem-solving and technical skills
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in technology and integrate them into lessons
- Contribute to extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or technology events
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching ICT and Computer Science in a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for technology and empowering students with digital skills
