About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
- Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with national curriculum guidelines
- Encourage critical thinking and respectful dialogue around religion, ethics, and philosophy
- Adopt a positive learning environment where all students are encouraged to explore diverse perspectives
- Collaborate with a committed and welcoming humanities department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related subject
- Proven experience teaching RE at secondary level (NQTs/ECTs welcome to apply)
- Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to learning
- A genuine passion for education and the ability to inspire students of all abilities
