Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in early years education? We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the WF1 area ,who are seeking a dedicated individual to join their team, supporting children on a 1:1 basis in Nursery and Reception.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and learning of young children with special educational needs. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you will provide tailored, nurturing support that helps every child thrive.
✅ What We're Looking For:
- Proven experience working with children with SEN in an early years or primary setting.
- A caring, empathetic, and nurturing attitude.
- A positive and proactive approach to supporting children's development.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping young learners reach their potential.
✅ Essential Experience:
- Prior experience in a school, nursery, or childcare setting with the following additional needs Autism Spectrum Condition, ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Physical disabilities or sensory impairments.
- Ideally with children that have additional needs, but general experience with young children is a strong foundation.
